ISRAEL: The Canary in the mine
In the old days, miners kept a canary in the mine and would watch it. If it became stressed or died, it was a warning that something was amiss and steps needed to be taken. The same is true today for Israel and the rest of Western Civilization.
What the Left doesn't seem to grasp is that the Islamics wish to do to all of us what they have publically stated they wish to do to the Jews. Does not the Left understand that they ARE infidels and in many cases fornicators under Islamic Law? When Dan Rather chooses to NOT wear an American flag on his lapel because he "doesn't want to take sides in the War on Terror", does he really believe that an America under Shar'ia Law would respect a free press?
Right now the canary is under stress. But the Left is saying "if we feed the canary to the Islamic alligator, it will be satisfied and not eat us!" Do they really believe that? Has that ever happened in History?
